Looking to improve your shot this summer? Then join us July 29 for our annual Shooting Clinic!
What We Will Work On
This clinic is for intermediate to advanced shooters (6th grade and up) who have mastered the fundamentals and are looking to further develop their shot. We will focus on improving key areas that lead directly to better in-game shooting:
- Learning and perfecting the different types of shooting footwork
- Shooting faster off of the dribble and off the pass
- Shooting effectively off of advanced moves
- **KEY** Learning to take practice skills to games
The clinic will be built around the 3 Step Shooting System developed by Coach Brandon over the past several years. Each core skill will be built around the 3 Steps so players progressively 1) Shoot Straighter, 2) Have Good Arc, and 3) Control Distance on their shot. This makes it easy to follow and helps players understand what must be done to continue progressing long term.
Developing an Elite Shooting Mindset
Shooting is at least 50% mental. In this clinic we will teach players exactly what this means and specific steps to take to train the mind. This will include learning how to:
- Build confidence and perform in game situations,
- Bounce back from shooting slumps and bad days,
- Focus better when training, and
- Implement systems to help automatically drive improvement and success.
Everyone can improve their shooting, whether you are an experienced player or relatively new to the game. We will show you the tricks and techniques used by some of the best shooters in the world so you can knock down more shots than ever before! If you want to improve you shooting form, learn to practice more efficiently, and ultimately knock down shots when it matters most, come to the clinic on July 29!
